👻 Meet Calocephalus brownii (aka White Wire), the plant that’s giving us all the spooky chic vibes here at Waterwise Botanicals! With its ghostly silver stems and tangled, wiry shape, it looks like something straight out of a haunted garden. Perfect for adding a touch of haunting beauty to your landscape, porch pots, or fall displays.

🌿 Plant Details:

  • Common Name: White Wire, Silver Bush, Cushion Bush
  • Botanical Name: Calocephalus brownii
  • Native to: Coastal Australia
  • Foliage: Striking silver-gray, wiry stems with a sculptural look
  • Height/Width: About 12–24 inches tall and wide
  • Blooms: Tiny yellow button flowers in summer

  • Light: Full sun to partial shade
  • Water: Drought-tolerant once established, but appreciates occasional deep watering
