Common Name: Shoestring Acacia

The Acacia stenophylla, commonly known as Shoestring Acacia has a very attractive, gracefully weeping form, maturing to approximately 30 ft. tall by 20 ft. wide. This fast growing tree achieves the “weeping” look with long, skinny, drooping leaves on slightly cascading branches. It is water-wise, loves the sun to partial shade and blooms with creamy yellow flowers in the late winter and early spring.
