Agave americana medio-picta alba

Common Name: White Stripe Century Plant

Agave americana medio-picta alba, commonly known as White Stripe Century Plant is probably one of the most beautiful and dramatic of all the Agaves. Interestingly curved leaves are olive green on the outside margins with a brilliant, bold, white stripe down the center. It doesn’t get as large as its other ‘americana’ brothers, remaining about 3 1/2′ high and about as wide. Spectacular as a large potted specimen in earthen tone pots, or as a high impact architectural form in a southwest or Mediterranean landscape. Full sun to part shade. Drought tolerant, but likes occasional deep watering.
