Agave colorata​​​, commonly known as Big-Tooth Blue Agave has tightly wrapped leaves unfurling from the center of the rosette remain indelibly etched on the flat surfaces of the mature leaves. Black teeth and leaf tips contrast boldly against striking blue colored foliage. This compact gem rarely exceeds an overall size of 2′, so it is a nice manageable size for Agave enthusiasts with limited space! Full sun, hardy to low 20s, and very water-wise when established.
