Ajuga reptans ‘Black Scallop’, commonly known as Carpet Bugle is grown for its dark purplish glossy foliage, this low growing spreader adds variety to your landscape. Blooms soft blue flowers from spring to early summer, but not very significant. Main coloration comes from the foliage. Does well in partial shade. This is a plant for moist cool places, and is not water-wise or drought tolerant.
