Common Name: Jupiter’s Beard

Centranthus ruber, commonly known as Jupiter’s Beard is a tough, evergreen perennial creates a beautiful wildflower look with its rich green leaves sporting clouds of pink or white flowers. Grows to about 1.5-3 ft. tall and 2-3 ft. wide in full sun or shade. Will re-seed. Blooms spring through fall. Best if pruned down occasionally throughout the year after big pulses of flowering. Re-seeds itself fairly aggressively. Water-wise.
