Crassula multicava ‘Red’

Common Name: “Royal Carpet Jade”
Description:

Luxurious, low growing succulent, with deep olive green leaves on the upper surface, and deep burgundy colored under-sides.  Flat, rouind leaves making the perfect “fores floor” looking groundcover.  Full sun coastal, but one of the few effective plans for growing in troublesome “dry shade” environments, under oak trees, pines and even eucalyptus.  Likes regular garden watering, but can tolerate long periods of complete dryness.  A fine mist of white flowers appears suspended above the foliage in winter and early spring. Frost tender.
