Euphorbia millii group (splendens, bojerii, breonii)

Common Name: Crown of Thorns

Derives its name from being the plant, or appearing like the plant, that was woven into a crown of thorns on Jesus at the crucifiction, or perhaps because it is in bloom during the time of year when his birthday is celebrated. All of this group are characterized by slender, thorny, slightly metallic colored stems bearing flowers. Grows to about 1.5 foot round, hardy to 32 degrees, and drought tolerant!
