Common Name: Daylily Velvet Red

Hemerocallis Velvet Red, commonly known as Daylily Velvet Red is a deep, dark red, velvety in texture, with a very wide (6.5″-7″) flower on long stems. Very free flowering and showy; almost pansy like because of the yellow face in the center contrasting with the dark red color. Medium to tall in size, with the foliage to 26” and flower stems to 3′. Starts blooming in mid May through July with a re-bloom in the fall.
