Sempervivum tectorum, commonly known as European “Hens and Chicks,” in the shape of a “mama” plant in the center with the little baby “chicks” around the sides. Comes in different foliage colors. Hardy to below zero. Full sun or part shade. They get a spread of 2 feet round, need good drainage and moderate water. Blooms tiny magenta flowers during the summer.
