Senecio cephalophorus (fulgens)

Common Name: Blazing Glory

The Senecio cephalophorus (fulgens), commonly known as Blazing Glory, has blue spatula like leaves arranged in compact bunches, bear brilliant, contrasting orange flowers off and on during the year. Smallish clumps at maturity, rarely exceeding 18” wide, and 8” tall. Can take some shade, but likes sun too in cooler coastal climates. Not good in desert heat.  Tender to frost.
