Luxurious gray foliage, evergreen year-round, and producing a constant supply of purple flowers on slender stems throughout most of the year. This is a solid perennial for butterflies, beauty, and drought tolerance. Very good CA coastal plant and good heat reliability in the desert. Not cold hardy to frost and freeze, so treated more like an annual in cold climates.
